Expanded Color Palettes from Pantone®: 175 new colors have been added to the Pantone Fashion, Home + Interiors (FHI) libraries, giving you access to the most current and trending colors. You can now choose these colors directly from the Attributes palette, making it easier to stay on trend with a variety of color options.
Pro Profile Packs from SideshowFX: Vectorworks has partnered with SideshowFX to offer pre-programmed tools and commands through their Pro Profile packs, specifically designed for third-party hardware like the Stream Deck. These profiles are available for purchase directly from SideshowFX and require minimal setup, allowing you to start working with Vectorworks immediately with popular commands right at your fingertips via the Stream Deck device’s touch-screen interface.
Updated Data Visualization for BIM Classification: With additional default Data Visualization content, you can now override visual attributes based on BIM classifications, enhancing visual quality control and efficiency. This feature allows for better integration of BIM classification data into your projects, making it easier to ensure proper classification and assignment of objects.
Enhanced Reporting for Curb Objects: A suite of new tools is available for Curb objects, including quantity takeoff worksheets, Data Tags, and Graphic Legends. These updates improve documentation and reporting workflows with Curb objects.
Improved Documentation for Fence Objects: Updated default Worksheets and Data Tags for Fence objects make documenting fence styles faster and more intuitive, helping you take advantage of Vectorworks’ strengths in data-centric workflows.
Advanced Reporting on Landscape Areas: This update introduces new Worksheets for reporting sustainability data, such as biodiversity net gain and biomass density, improving your ability to measure and document environmental impacts. The addition of Data Tags and Graphic Legends to Landscape Areas ensures faster documentation and clearer representation of landscape plans.
Efficient Truss Object Handling: Truss objects now support duplication shortcuts without losing automated connections, making it easier and faster to draw truss layouts or create 3D rigging models.
Improved Distributor Tool Resource Selector: The Distributor tool now includes a more comprehensive resource selector, giving you instant access to both online and local libraries for easier integration of resources into your projects.
New Content Libraries for Lighting and Special Effects: Update 1 brings new content libraries for lighting devices from trusted brands like ACME, Ayrton, Chauvet, Elation, and Light Sky. Additionally, special effects libraries from Chauvet and MagicFX, as well as a new truss library from Prolyte, are now available.
To install, please select "Check for Updates" from the Vectorworks menu (Mac) or Help menu (Windows).
